TO THOSE INTERESTED IN OUR CHURCH

Mission Statement

"TCC exists as a fellowship of believers in Christ to glorify God in all things-- to reach the lost for Christ -- to mature believers in Christ -- and to challenge all believers to discover and fulfill God's purpose for their lives through ministry by practicing love and serving one another."

Here at Tucker Christian Church we seek to promote an undenominational Christian faith. Our plea is for all believers in Christ to return to simple New Testament Christianity as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. We contend that unity in Christ is possible only to the extent that we submit to following His will as set forth in the Bible.

TO THOSE INTERESTED IN CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

At the close of each service an opportunity is given for anyone who has a desire to accept Jesus Christ as Savior to come forward and make that decision known. You will be asked to repeat the confession of faith, "I believe … with all my heart … that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God" and you will be baptized by immersion immediately or as soon as possible … in obedience to Christ's command.

If you are already an immersed believer in Christ and a member elsewhere and wish to become a part of our Church family, you do not need a Church letter of transfer. We will write your Church for you and request that they update their records.

If you are a Church member elsewhere but have not as yet submitted to the original form of baptism by immersion, we will ask you to do so. Since our goal as a Church is to restore the New Testament pattern in all areas of Church life, we practice only the original form of baptism, which is immersion.

We invite everyone to study God's Word with us and to worship with us at any and all services of our Church. We would be honored to minister to you and your family in any way that we possibly can. And we invite you to join us as we seek to reach the world for Christ … one soul at a time … and to glorify God in all things. "To God be the glory - great things He hath done!"
